Lynne Bell is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader of the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme at the University of Chester. With over 25 years of teaching experience in architecture and interior design-related disciplines, she joined the university in 2018. Bell is a qualified architect and has taught across HND and degree programmes at various Higher and Further Education Institutions in the Northwest of England.

- Professional Practice in Architecture, RIBA Part 3 - Queen's University Belfast (1990-1991)
Her research focuses on the impact of spatial planning and interior environment design on people and place, as well as the role of architectural drawing in the design process. She teaches interior design process and communication at Levels 4 and 6 of the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme.
As a Senior Lecturer in the School for the Creative Industries, Bell contributes to the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Chester.
