Dr. Lynn Sampson-Chappell is the Head of the Childhood, Education and Professional Development (CEPD) Department at the University of Chester's School of Education. She leads the development of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programs supporting educators globally. Her work emphasizes strategic partnerships with schools, local authorities, and international agencies to drive educational improvement and transformative change.
Her research focuses on arts in education, participatory methodologies, and leadership development. Notable projects include 'The Art Maths Thing,' exploring interdisciplinary learning, and collaborations on pedagogical practices in Palestine and England funded by the British Academy. She co-directs the Research into Education, Creativity and Arts through Practice (RECAP) Centre and previously led Liverpool Hope University's Centre for Education and Policy Analysis (CEPA).
