Lyndsay Jerusha MacKay is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Trinity Western University (TWU), teaching in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Her work focuses on improving pediatric care through family-centered models, particularly for infants and children with medical complexities. She holds a PhD from the University of Calgary (2019), an MSN (2010), and a BSN (2006), both from the University of Lethbridge. Her research emphasizes practical interventions to enhance patient and family needs in hospital settings.
Research Interests: Dr. MacKay’s expertise includes developing care strategies for medically fragile infants, exploring trust dynamics between parents and healthcare providers, and analyzing the impacts of parental technoference on child development. She also investigates pandemic-related challenges in healthcare and family dynamics.
