Tracy Oosterbroek is an Associate Professor and EDI Scholar (2024) at the University of Lethbridge's Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Program. She earned her PhD in 2017, MSc(N) in 2009, BN in 1995, and RN in 1990 from the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College.

Her research focuses on rural nursing education, trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). She employs participatory action research and photovoice methods to explore authentic learning environments, student belonging in rural preceptorships, and climate change impacts on healthcare. Her recent work examines planetary health frameworks and climate-driven vector-borne diseases.
