Lyndsay Avery

Lyndsay Avery is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Saint Michael's College. She holds a PhD in Infectious Diseases & Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Biology from Utica College. Her research focuses on T cell biology, particularly the molecular mechanisms underlying immune deficiencies like X-linked moesin-associated immunodeficiency (X-MAID), with implications for therapeutic development.

Her research interests span immunology, cell biology, and infectious diseases, emphasizing T cell function, immune cell migration, and cytoskeletal defects in immunodeficiency disorders.
