Luz E. Herrera is a Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Experiential Education at Texas A&M University School of Law. Her expertise includes Clinical Legal Education, Community Economic Development, and Law Firm Incubators. She has conducted impactful research on Mexican reintegration, legal services accessibility in border regions, and innovative models for legal practice development.
Her awards reflect her leadership in legal education and public service, including recognition from the Hispanic National Bar Foundation, Notre Dame Law School, and Harvard Law School. She previously practiced law before entering academia, focusing on public interest and community-based legal strategies.
