Luke Wilson

Luke Wilson is a Professorial Lecturer and part-time faculty at The George Washington University. He serves as Deputy Director and co-founder of the Center for Water Security and Cooperation, specializing in transboundary water issues, international law, and human rights. His work involves collaboration with organizations like The World Bank, the American Bar Association, and the U.S. Government, focusing on law systems, dispute resolution, and policy advocacy.

Education includes a BA from Bowdoin College, followed by JD and LLM degrees from The George Washington University.

Research interests center on water and sanitation crises in Africa, Latin America, and the U.S., alongside international legal frameworks addressing human rights and natural disasters. He has contributed to global task forces on water affordability and sanitation policy.

Wilson previously co-chaired the American Bar Association's International Human Rights Committee and served as a law clerk at the International Court of Justice. He is also an active member of The Washington Chorus and has performed with renowned ensembles.
