Alfreda Robinson

Alfreda Robinson serves as Associate Dean for Trial Advocacy and Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University School of Law, where she co-directs the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Program and teaches pre-trial advocacy to JD and LLM students. Previously, she was a senior trial counsel at the Department of Justice, Civil Division, handling complex commercial litigation at trial and appellate levels.

Her educational background includes a BA and MA from the University of Chicago and a JD from George Washington University.

Dean Robinson's research centers on sanctions for pretrial misconduct, judicial selection mechanisms, mediation protocols, and judicial education frameworks. She is recognized nationally for advancing trial advocacy pedagogy and dispute resolution methodologies within legal education.
