Dr. Luke Nottage is a Professor of Comparative and Transnational Business Law at Sydney Law School, University of Sydney. He currently holds the title of Visiting Professor and is in residence until 31 January 2025. His research focuses on arbitration, contract law, consumer product safety law, corporate governance, and legal systems in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
He is the founding Co-Director of the Australian Network for Japanese Law (ANJeL) and an Associate Director of the Centre for Asian and Pacific Law at the University of Sydney. Additionally, he serves as Managing Director of Japanese Law Links Pty Ltd and Special Counsel at Williams Trade Law.
His expertise spans cross-border legal frameworks, with particular emphasis on Japanese legal systems and their transnational applications.
