Luke Bronin serves as a Visiting Lecturer in Law, Senior Research Scholar in Law, and Tsai Leadership Senior Distinguished Fellow in Residence at Yale Law School. He previously served as Mayor of Hartford, Connecticut (2016–2023), guiding the city through fiscal crises and the pandemic while advancing initiatives like the Hartford Youth Service Corps and Reentry Welcome Center. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he held roles including Deputy Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing at the U.S. Treasury, General Counsel to Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy, and officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
