Dr Luke Beardon is a Senior Lecturer in Autism at the Sheffield Institute of Education, part of the College of Social Sciences and Arts at Sheffield Hallam University. He has over 30 years of experience in autism advocacy, education, and research, focusing on redressing inequalities faced by autistic individuals. He leads the Postgraduate Certificate in Autism (collaborating with the National Autistic Society) and supervises doctoral students. Awards include the 2011 Inspirational Teacher Award and 2012 Inspirational Research Supervisor Award.
Education: Holds a BA (Hons), PgC (Autism), and EDd (doctoral thesis on autism and perceived offending conduct at Sheffield Hallam University).
