Lukas Weymann is a Researcher at the Department of Emerging Technologies, Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI. He focuses on technology analysis for Li-ion batteries, post-LIB energy storage solutions, hydrogen technologies, quantum technologies, and aspects of technology sovereignty. His work integrates market analysis, policy evaluation, and cross-sectoral innovation pathways.
Education: M.Sc. Physics (Leibniz Universität Hannover, 2016), PhD in solid-state spectroscopy from Vienna University of Technology (2020) under the Doctoral School 'Solids4Fun'.
Research interests include battery production feasibility, risk assessment models for emerging technologies, socio-economic impacts of quantum technologies, and sustainable battery ecosystems. He has contributed to key projects like BEMA2020, BetterBat, and the European Battery Roadmap 2030.
