Luisa Maria Migneco is an Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of bioactive organic compounds, nanostructured systems, and catalytic materials.
Her work encompasses chiral carbon quantum dots for catalytic applications, antimicrobial polymer development, and essential oil-based nanostructured systems. Additional research investigates covalent adaptable networks and enantioselective synthesis methodologies for bioactive molecules.
Dr. Migneco's research program also explores novel sorbent materials for environmental applications and participates in interdisciplinary collaborations across materials science and bioanalytical chemistry.
