Luisa D'Urso

Luisa D'Urso is an Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry (CHIM/02) at the University of Catania, Department of Chemical Sciences. She leads the Thin Films and Nanostructures Laboratory (LFSN) and utilizes advanced facilities like Confocal Raman - AFM SNOM at the Bio-Nanotech Research and Innovation Tower (BRIT). Her work focuses on synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for plasmonic sensing, photocatalysis, and biomedical applications.
