Lucy Mule is a Professor of Education and Child Study at Smith College. She served as the inaugural faculty director of the Jandon Center for Community Engagement and co-directs global engagement seminars in Kenya.

- B.Ed. from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya
Her research focuses on community engagement, university-community partnerships, service learning, multicultural curriculum development, and comparative education. She explores critical global education worker subjectivity, pre-service teacher training, and gender equity in Kenyan education systems.
Mule's publications span global citizenship identification in study abroad programs, employability through community engagement, and structural approaches to gender equity. Her work addresses multicultural service learning, professional development schools, and indigenous language curriculum integration.
She has collaborated on interdisciplinary projects and contributed to educational reform literature through teacher training programs and educational policy analysis.
