Dr Lucy Jackson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University, and a member of the Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies. Her work bridges ancient and early modern studies, focusing on Greek drama, choral performance, and textual reception. She supervises doctoral researchers on topics spanning Classical Greek theatre to 21st-century adaptations.

- Ancient Greek tragedy and comedy (5th–4th century BCE)
- Performance theory in Plato/Aristotle
- Early modern translations of Greek drama
- 20th/21st-century reception of classical texts
