Lucy Delogu is a Professor at Temple University Rome, specializing in Italian language, literature, and culture. With teaching experience since 1995, she integrates Humanistic, Cognitive, and Communicative theories into her pedagogy.
- Ph.D. in Italian Literature from Rutgers University
- MA in Italian Literature from The Ohio State University
- BA in Modern Languages and Literature (English and Russian) from Università degli Studi di Sassari, Italy
Her research focuses on gender studies, Italian women writers of the 19th-20th centuries (particularly Anna Banti), and Italian films and songs. She has curated works on themes like maternity in Italian literature and explored subjectivity in historical narratives.
Dr. Delogu actively participates in professional associations, including the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and the American Association for Italian Studies (AASI), among others.
