Lucinda Soon is a Visiting Lecturer at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London, where she serves as Module Lead for Psychology for Legal Practitioners within the MSc Law & Professional Practice programme. She is also conducting doctoral research in organisational psychology at Birkbeck, University of London, focusing on workplace culture and wellbeing in the legal profession.
Her research interests center on the intersection of law and psychology, particularly in the areas of legal ethics, regulatory compliance, and the mental health and wellbeing of legal professionals. She advocates for improved ethical standards and policy development through her research and practice.
Lucinda's recent publications highlight a growing trend in understanding the psychological challenges faced by lawyers, emphasizing context-specific models of wellbeing and the role of mindfulness and psychological needs satisfaction. Her work contributes foundational insights through systematic and synthesis reviews of global literature.
