Research Interests
Dr. Rudge’s work centers on holistic and transformative pedagogies, equity & diversity in education, teacher–student relationships, contemplative practices, and international comparative education. Her qualitative investigations often employ case-study, self-study, and narrative methodologies to illuminate how alternative educational models—such as Waldorf, Montessori, and International Baccalaureate—can thrive within public systems while nurturing the whole child.
Across her publications, a consistent theme emerges: cultivating educational environments that honor cultural identity, foster mindful relationships, and democratize learning.
