Dr. Lucie Moussu is a Professor and Director of the Writing Centre at the Royal Military College in Kingston, ON. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Purdue University and previously served as Associate Professor at the University of Alberta and Toronto Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on second language writing, writing center administration, academic integrity, and generative AI applications in education.
Research interests center on transformative pedagogical approaches, including peer tutoring models, plagiarism prevention frameworks, and AI's impact on academic writing. Her work bridges theoretical linguistics with practical writing center operations.
Publications consistently address writing pedagogy innovation, ESL support strategies, and academic integrity frameworks. Recent articles explore AI's disruptive potential in redefining writing center roles within digital learning ecosystems.
