Yu-Ching Annie Ou is an Associate Professor of Writing and Director of the ESL Program at Lasell University's School of Humanities, Education, Justice & Social Sciences. She teaches courses like Writing Skills: Multilingual Writers, Oral Communication & Presentation Skills, and First Year Seminars.
- Ph.D. in English (Second Language Studies/ESL) from Purdue University
- M.Ed. in TESOL from Boston University
- B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin
Her research focuses on ESL writing pedagogy, multilingual student writing strategies, and intergenerational communication. She has presented at the International Conference on EFL Education and received recognition for teaching excellence at Purdue University.
She has extensive teaching experience, including graduate instructor roles at Purdue and organizing ESL summer programs in China and Taiwan. Her involvement in establishing English summer camps in China earned her The City of Houston Award in 2006.
