Lucie Furulund

Lucie Furulund is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nursing at the University of Inland Norway's Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. She holds a master's degree in vocational education and has clinical experience in specialist health services, particularly in aging and elderly care. Her research focuses on educational innovation, including virtual reality (VR) technology in nursing education and palliative care training. She leads the Virtual Medicine Room project, which received the HINN Educational Quality Award in 2021 for its impact on educational quality. Furulund is also involved in developing digital training packages for palliative care and mentorship in healthcare.
