Lucie Carrier

Prof. Lucie Carrier is a faculty member at the Institute of Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. She leads a research group focused on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), sarcomere mutations, and autophagy-lysosomal pathways. Her work bridges molecular mechanisms with translational therapies, including gene editing and pharmacological interventions.

• Research Interests: Cardiomyopathy pathogenesis, tubulin dynamics, iPSC disease modeling, proteotoxic stress, CRISPR/Cas9 applications, ESC consensus guidelines.

Recent Publications (2024-2023): Her 2024 studies explore tubulin tyrosination in heart function and RNA editing therapies. 2023 articles investigate EGFR/IGF1R signaling and tubulin cycles, while 2022 work includes consensus documents on cardiovascular models and ACTN2 proteopathy.

Collaborations: Active in ESC Working Groups on Myocardial Function and Cellular Biology of the Heart. Her team uses iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes, mouse models, and proteomic analysis to identify therapeutic targets.
