Dr. Luciane L. Maimone is an Associate Professor and graduate program director in the Department of Languages, Cultures and Religions at Missouri State University. She earned her PhD in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University and holds an MS in Hispanic Linguistics. Her research focuses on psycholinguistic aspects of non-native language acquisition, language pedagogy, assessment, and the role of technology in education, particularly machine translation tools and telecollaboration.
