Lucia Mair

Lucia Mair is a PhD candidate and Researcher at the University of Vienna's Institute of Cultural and Social Anthropology, affiliated with the Research Group Health Matters. She holds a BA in European Ethnology (LMU Munich) and an MSc in Medical Anthropology and Sociology (UvA Amsterdam). Her work bridges medical anthropology, global health, and intersectional feminism, focusing on healthcare access for marginalized populations, migration and health dynamics, and gender medicine. She previously served as a global health consultant at GIZ. Her doctoral research examines emergent care practices in neighborhood-based primary health centers in urban Germany.
