Dr. Alpana Mair is an Associate Professor at the School of Health and Social Care, Edinburgh Napier University. She is an internationally recognized expert in medication optimization, polypharmacy, and patient safety, with significant contributions to EU projects and WHO initiatives.

Her research focuses on polypharmacy, medication safety, and implementation science, addressing global challenges in multimorbidity, health inequalities, and pharmacogenomics.
