Lucas Huter

Lucas Huter is a University Lecturer at MCI Management Center Innsbruck, where he has held academic roles since 2015. His professional experience includes scientific assistance, project management, and research internships focused on strategy, M&A, and eco-innovation. He holds a BA in Management & Law from MCI, an MA in International Business & Law from MCI, and an MSc in Management with Strategy from Edinburgh Napier University. He also participated in an Asian Studies Summer School in Vietnam.

His research interests span cross-border mergers and acquisitions, eco-innovation, sustainable business models, and digital transformation in management education. He has contributed to projects like the EU-funded AlpBioEco initiative and the BMBF-backed Egyptian SME innovation project. His publications explore topics such as business simulation games in education, cultural distance in acquisitions, and bioeconomy value chains.
