Lubomira Tosheva

Dr. Lubomira Tosheva is a Senior Lecturer in Materials Chemistry at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). She holds an MSc from Sofia University and a PhD in Chemical Technology from Lulea University. Her research focuses on advanced materials, nanotechnology, and their applications in environmental sustainability, catalysis, and biomedical engineering. She leads the MSc Advanced Materials Programme and serves on the editorial boards of journals like Green Carbon and Materials. Dr. Tosheva has expertise in zeolite synthesis, photocatalytic systems, and antimicrobial materials, with notable contributions to waste valorization and dental biomaterials. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and has collaborated internationally, including at the Manchester Metropolitan Joint Institute in China. Her work bridges academic research with industrial applications, emphasizing sustainable materials and energy solutions.
