Dr. Lu Heng Sunny Yu is a Teaching Fellow and Outreach and Schools Liaison for Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of California, Irvine, and has extensive experience in teaching and research across institutions, including roles as a Lecturer, Teaching Associate, and Teaching Assistant at UC Irvine. His research focuses on quantum gravity, quantum field theory, and cosmology, alongside pedagogical innovations in mathematics and physics education. He actively contributes to educational outreach and explores technology-enhanced learning strategies.
