Dr. Louise Turner is a Senior Lecturer in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition at the School of Sport and Physical Activity, part of the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University. She holds a BSc from Cardiff Metropolitan University, an MSc from Indiana University, and a PhD in Human and Exercise Physiology (Human Performance) from Indiana University (2010). Her research focuses on cardiopulmonary responses to exercise across health and disease, including exercise-induced asthma and the interplay between nutrition, physical activity, and airway health. She received the American College of Sports Medicine-Gatorade Sport Science Institute Award for her contributions to sport nutrition research.
