Louise Pears is Associate Professor in Global Security and Gender at the School of Politics and International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Leeds, where she serves as Director of Student Education and co-Director of the Centre for Teaching Innovation and Scholarship. Her feminist pedagogical approach centers care, joy, and community in teaching practices.
