- Education: PhD in Political Science (Université de Montréal), MSc in Economics and Agricultural Economics (McGill University), BA in Political Science and Economics (Université de Montréal).
His research critically examines public consultation processes, challenging assumptions that they are either futile or dominated by corporate interests. He investigates how administrators collect, process, and integrate information, with a particular emphasis on science-policy interfaces and stakeholder dynamics. Recent work includes analyzing epidemiological projections during the pandemic and the coexistence of scientific and traditional ecological knowledge in federal impact assessments.
Key trends in his publications include the application of text mining and natural language processing to regulatory data, comparative policy analysis, and quantitative evaluations of stakeholder influence. His studies often intersect Canadian governance structures, regulatory frameworks, and data-driven policy tools.
