Louis Larue is a Postdoc Marie Curie at Aalborg University's Department of Culture and Learning, affiliated with the Research in Sociocultural Aspects of Sustainability and Green Transitions (Recast) group. His work bridges philosophy and economics, focusing on monetary justice, alternative currencies, and social ontology. He holds a PhD from the Hoover Chair of Economic and Social Ethics (2014–2019) and has lectured internationally at institutions like Université catholique de Louvain (2025).
