Lorrie Vogel is a Pro Tem Instructor in the Department of Sports Product Management at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business. She brings over 30 years of global expertise in design, innovation, and sustainability. Previously, she spent 21 years at Nike, culminating in her role as Vice President of Nike's Material Science and Innovation division. She co-founded the Sustainable Apparel Coalition in 2010 and currently leads ImagineNOW, a consultancy focused on design, innovation, and sustainability strategies for Fortune 500 companies.
Her work has been recognized through Fast Company's Fast 50 accolade and OMSI's top 12 innovators list. She holds over 30 utility patents and her sustainable design work is featured in an MIT case study. Her research interests center on integrating sustainability into product design and leveraging design thinking to drive innovation across industries.
Lorrie’s academic contributions focus on translating her industry experience into educational frameworks for future leaders in sports product management and sustainable business practices. She advises on strategies for corporate sustainability and innovation through her consultancy and academic roles.
