Lorraine O'Donnell is an Affiliate Professor at Concordia University's School of Community and Public Affairs, where she also serves as Senior Research Manager for the Quebec English-Speaking Communities Research Network (QUESCREN). Her work focuses on Canadian women's history and community-based heritage projects.

Her research explores the intersection of history, heritage, and community-building, particularly for Quebec's English-speaking minority. O'Donnell leads day-to-day operations at QUESCREN and is a member of Concordia's engAGE research group on aging. She emphasizes participatory approaches to historical/heritage projects that support community resilience and social cohesion.
