Lorna Clark is a Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Carleton University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and has held prestigious fellowships at institutions like McGill University and the Bodleian Library. Her research focuses on early modern women writers, eighteenth- and nineteenth-century literature, manuscript culture, and editing practices, with a particular emphasis on the Burney family.
