Mary Helen McMurran is an Associate Professor and Chair of Graduate Studies in English at the Department of English and Writing Studies, Western University. She specializes in eighteenth-century literature, with a focus on the intersection of lyric poetry, philosophy, and theories of mind and soul. Her research examines the evolution of the novel through translation culture and the emergence of prose fiction.
