Loris Rossi

Dr. Loris Rossi is a Senior Lecturer at the Manchester School of Architecture (MSA), specializing in Urban Design and Architecture. He previously served as Dean of the School of Planning and Urban Design at POLIS University in Tirana (2011–2020) and was an Adjunct Professor at La Sapienza University in Rome. His research focuses on sustainable urban development, resilience in urban systems, and the intersection of architecture with interrupted urban processes. He leads projects like the Observatory of the Mediterranean Basin (OMB) and collaborates internationally on initiatives such as the Hydrocity Lab between Manchester and Riga.

• Education: BA in Architecture (La Sapienza, 2004), PhD in Architecture and Theory (La Sapienza), with research conducted at UCLA.
