Lori Leigh Davis is a Lecturer in the School of Business's Department of Management and the International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute (IELLI) at the University of St Andrews. She holds dual roles as Module Coordinator and Lecturer in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including foundational business modules and specialized MSc programs like Leadership and Management in International Education.
Dr. Davis earned a PhD in Management from St Andrews (2013-2017), focusing on rhetorical analysis of international regimes against conflict diamonds. She also holds an MLitt in International Business and a BTech in Technology Management. Her research bridges rhetoric theory, corporate social responsibility, and conflict resource governance, with presentations at institutions like the University of Texas and Uppsala University.
Her teaching excellence has been recognized through multiple awards, including the 2021-22 Teaching Excellence Award and Golden Dandelion Award. She previously administered the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) and worked as a diamond broker in Canada.
