Ryan Parks is the Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of General Management and Human Resources at Mount Royal University's Bissett School of Business. He holds a PhD and MLitt in Management from the University of St Andrews, UK, and a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.

His research focuses on organizational legitimacy, rhetoric-driven institutional change, and strategic management. Teaching expertise includes Strategic Management, International Business, and Scenario Thinking. Consulting specialties span scenario planning, geopolitical risk analysis, and government relations.
Prior to academia, Parks led an education advocacy group and managed public affairs for a major Canadian industry association. He previously held roles at the University of St Andrews, including Teaching Fellow, Academic Director of the International Business Masters program, and Warden of St Leonard's College.
