Lori Ann Ramirez

Lori Ann Ramirez is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), part of the College of Business. She joined UTA in August 2023 and teaches courses in leadership, organizational behavior, and entrepreneurship.

Education:

• MBA in General Management-Leadership, University of Houston (2017)
• BA in Fine Arts, University of Houston (2013)

Her research and teaching focus on leadership, social justice, board diversity, and interpersonal/group development. She integrates her professional experience as a business owner into her pedagogy, emphasizing real-world application. She holds an ACUE Micro Credential in designing learner-centered and equitable courses, reflecting her commitment to inclusive education.

Lori has been recognized by UTA students for Exceptional Dedication and Positive Impact in December 2024. She actively contributes to academic service through committee work, student advising, and community engagement.

She serves as Faculty Advisor for Women in Business and has participated in the Marketing Faculty Search Committee and COB Exam Task Force. She is also active in outreach, having spoken at student and community events, including Victory Outreach Church of Houston and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. From 2018 to 2024, she served on the University of Houston–Downtown Alumni Council.
