Lori Andrews is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Education at Pacific Oaks College. With over 33 years of experience in education, she brings deep expertise in special education, educational leadership, and student support services. She currently serves as the principal of a private school in South Pasadena serving students from kindergarten through age 22 with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Her educational background includes:

Lori's research and professional focus centers on trauma-informed approaches to childhood development and emotional disturbance. She has presented on topics such as Special Needs in Public Libraries and Understanding Autism in Education, reflecting her commitment to inclusive practices across educational settings. Her work emphasizes empowering students with disabilities to become self-directed learners.
Lori Andrews is actively involved in mentoring new teachers in both general and special education. She holds multiple California teaching and administrative credentials, including Education Specialist, Administrative, and Language Development Specialist credentials. She is also a member of the Council for Exceptional Children.
