Dr. Lorenz Heimbrecht is a Researcher at the Institute for Music and Musicology of the University of Hildesheim. Specializing in Music Pedagogy, Digital Music Applications, and Inclusive Educational Projects, he bridges academic research with artistic practice. His work includes the federally funded 'Every Child a Voice' initiative (2021) and the ShakeSampler app, which won a 2nd Prize in 2021.
- Education: Teaching qualification in Music and Philosophy (Cologne University of Music and Performing Arts), Artistic University Class Singing.
Research Interests focus on music education, digital music tools, and inclusive practices. He explores how physical movement enhances musical realization and critiques whiteness in musicology.
