Lorena Bello Gómez is a Lecturer and Design Critic in Landscape Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD). She previously served as a Lecturer at MIT's School of Architecture + Planning (2013–2021) and Visiting Professor at Porto University’s FAUP (2020–2021). Her work bridges design expertise with political strategies to address climatic adaptation and regenerative change in vulnerable communities.

Research Focus: Infrastructure as catalysts for territorial transformation, particularly hybrid networks and slow geographies. Her work emphasizes resilience, cultural geopolitics, and environmental justice.
Grants & Collaborations: Supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation (Spain, 2016), Aga Khan Foundation (India, 2017–2018), Fundación Social (Colombia, 2017–), TUMO Foundation (Armenia, 2018), and DRCLAS (Mexico, 2018–2021). Exhibitions: Featured at the 2018 Venice Biennale and MIT Media Lab. Publications include Beyond Reconstruction and Disaster Resilient Housing.
