Lois Klassen is an Adjunct Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Interactive Arts & Technology, Simon Fraser University. Her research focuses on ethics and participatory art practices, with a particular emphasis on collective actions that engage social, aesthetic, and material methods. She contributes to the Canadian Association of Research Ethics Boards' Circle of Experts and has held a Fulbright Fellowship at the University of Texas in El Paso (2020), focusing on border studies through the Center for Inter-American Border Studies and the Ruben Center for the Visual Arts.
