Logan Banadyga is an Adjunct Professor at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba, and a Research Scientist at the National Microbiology Laboratory, Public Health Agency of Canada.
- Appointed head of the Molecular Virology and Countermeasure Development Section (Special Pathogens Program) in 2021
- Active in graduate student supervision (accepting Master's and PhD students)

- Bachelor of Science with Honours in Immunology and Infection, University of Alberta (2005)
Research Interests focus on filoviruses (Ebola, Marburg, Sudan) with emphasis on:
- Molecular mechanisms of viral pathogenesis
- Development of vaccines, antivirals, and diagnostics
- Characterization of animal models for disease understanding and countermeasure evaluation
- Integration with public health preparedness initiatives
