Lizzy Lowe

Dr Lizzy Lowe is a Vice Chancellor's Research Fellow at Edith Cowan University's School of Science, specializing in urban ecology and entomology. Her work combines social and ecological approaches to enhance biodiversity monitoring and management in urban environments, focusing on green infrastructure and stakeholder engagement.

Research interests include urban biodiversity conservation, spider ecology, socio-ecological systems, and evidence-based strategies for pest management. She contributes to global spider trait databases and investigates misinformation dynamics around arachnids.

Recent publications highlight her expertise in cross-realm urban ecology, spider adaptation to anthropogenic change, and trait-based conservation frameworks. Her work spans terrestrial, marine, and freshwater ecosystem management.
