He contributes to global biodiversity research and the UN Sustainable Development Goals through studies on terrestrial and aquatic arthropod phylogeny.
- Research Focus: Systematics of Pseudoscorpiones, Araneae, and Acariformes, with emphasis on New Species and New Genus descriptions.
- Recent Publications: 5+ peer-reviewed articles (2024-2025) in journals like Zootaxa and Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, covering spider web evolution, pseudoscorpion phylogeny, and aquatic habitat adaptation.
- Grants & Projects: Led conservation systematics initiatives for Australia’s trapdoor spiders and millipedes, funded by federal agencies (2017-2025).
