Lizzie Wilson is a Lecturer at The Creative Computing Institute (University of the Arts London) and a PhD candidate at Queen Mary, University of London. She is affiliated with the Media & Arts Technology Centre for Doctoral Training, Centre for Digital Music, and Cognitive Science research groups.
Her research focuses on:
- Live computer music and digital performance
- Musical pattern recognition and generation
- Epistemologies of artificial intelligence
- Techgnosis (technology + gnosis) in creative contexts
- Human-machine co-collaboration frameworks
Lizzie actively creates and performs digital art, including recent works on Art and AI, ritual-based collective intelligence projects, and feminist hackathons. Her artistic output spans releases on Cherche Encore and i.u labels, a Fact Magazine feature, and international performances as digital selves.
