Lizzie Ridout is a Senior Lecturer at Falmouth University, specializing in Graphic Design, Typography, and Illustration. She holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Falmouth College of Arts (2000) and an MA in Communication Art & Design from the Royal College of Art, London (2002). Her research explores cultural deconstruction through art, focusing on language, archives, and material processes. Notable projects include In Absentia (2010), an investigation into disappearing words, and Bideford Black: The Next Generation (2015), a pigment-based environmental project. She has exhibited internationally and held residencies at the British Library and Women’s Studio Workshop, NY.
